Residential Counselor/Youth Care Worker

Responsible for the daily care, supervision, and support of the children in the group home. This includes assisting with daily routines, implementing behavior management techniques, and providing emotional support.

Licensed Social Worker/Clinician

Provides counseling, case management, and therapeutic support to the children and their families. They assess the needs of each child, develop treatment plans, and connect them with resources and services.

Program Manager/Coordinator

Oversees the overall operation of the group home, including staffing, programming, budgeting, and compliance with regulations. They liaise with external agencies, coordinate services, and ensure the well-being of the children.

Education Coordinator/Tutor

Coordinates educational services for the children, including liaising with schools, ensuring educational assessments are conducted, and providing tutoring and educational support as needed.

Life Skills Coach/Independent Living Specialist

Helps children develop essential life skills such as cooking, cleaning, budgeting, and job readiness. They prepare youth for independent living and support their transition out of the group home.

Behavioral Specialist/Therapist

Provides specialized support for children with behavioral challenges, trauma, or mental health issues. They develop and implement behavior intervention plans, conduct therapy sessions, and support staff in managing challenging behaviors

Medical Coordinator/Nurse

Oversees the medical needs of the children, including medication management, coordinating medical appointments, and ensuring access to healthcare services.

Recreation Coordinator/Activities Director

Plans and implements recreational, social, and therapeutic activities for the children. They promote positive socialization, skill-building, and healthy leisure pursuits.

Family Support Specialist

Works with the families of the children to provide support, education, and reunification services. They facilitate communication, advocate for family involvement, and help strengthen family relationships.

Security Personnel

Ensures the safety and security of the group home, its residents, and staff. Behavioral Health Technicians/Residential Counselors

Provide support and assistance to individuals with mental health challenges or developmental disabilities within residential settings. Responsibilities may include implementing treatment plans, offering emotional support, facilitating group activities, and assisting with daily living tasks.

Activities Coordinator/Recreation Therapist

Develop and coordinate recreational programs and activities for individuals in various settings such as hospitals, rehabilitation centers, or senior living facilities. Utilize therapeutic techniques to improve physical, emotional, and social well-being through engaging and enjoyable activities.

Nutritionist/Dietitian

Assess individuals’ nutritional needs and develop personalized dietary plans to promote health and prevent or manage diseases. Provide education and counseling on healthy eating habits, food choices, and lifestyle modifications to improve overall wellness.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to support individuals with autism or other developmental disorders. Utilize applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to teach and reinforce positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors.

Home Manager

Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of group homes or residential facilities for individuals with disabilities or special needs. Manage staff, coordinate schedules, ensure compliance with regulations, and provide support to residents to promote a safe and supportive living environment.

Program Director/Manager

Lead and oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs and services within an organization. Responsibilities include strategic planning, budget management, staff supervision, and ensuring program effectiveness and compliance with regulations.

Direct Support Professionals

Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities or special needs in various settings, including residential facilities, group homes, or community-based programs. Assist with daily living tasks, personal care, medication administration, and implementation of individualized support plans.

Behavioral and Support Specialist

Offer specialized support and interventions to individuals with behavioral challenges or mental health needs. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assess behavior, develop behavior plans, and implement strategies to promote positive outcomes and improve quality of life.

Transportation Driver

Safely transport individuals to and from appointments, activities, or programs. Ensure the comfort and safety of passengers during transportation, adhere to traffic laws and regulations, and maintain cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle.

Outreach & Community Engagement Coordinator

Develop and implement strategies to engage with the community and raise awareness of an organization’s services or mission. Coordinate outreach events, workshops, and presentations, establish partnerships with community organizations, and advocate for the needs of the population served.
